Sneak Peek

Here's a peek at my wedding dress I've been making. I took my Aunt's dress and took it apart to use the beautiful brocade. It's been very fun to work with my mom on this and I must admit my sewing skills have really improved. This dress is actually my party/reception dress. For the ceremony I'm wearing my grandmothers dress that was handmade by my great-grandmother. It's really amazing and quite fragile at this point.

A Pretty Mess

So my wedding day is only 13 days away. The house is filled with many small projects with little messes following me everywhere. This was one of the prettier ones. These will be small vellum flowers that go on the arch.
