Boca Raton II

We were in Boca Raton, FL this past weekend. My husband travels a lot for work, one of the perks is that Lilly and I sometimes tag-a-long. I was taken with this resort we stayed at. It was originally built in 1926. I'm not sure if Mr. Mizner built it, but he definitely made it what it is. He was an eccentric man that could be seen wandering the resort in a silk robe with his pet spider monkey, Johnnie, on any given day. Maybe that story alone made me like being there. It was also quite beautiful, which I wasn't expecting in Florida. I think Florida is weird and never really have high expectations, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
